About Us
Louie DeRosa was an Italian immigrant that longed for the American Dream. In 1981, he made that dream a reality by starting Gardena Welding Supply with his son Frank. They delivered cylinders out of a station wagon and made handshake deals. As the business grew and they needed more help Louie got his daughter, Marie, to join them. Gardena Welding Supply became known for doing everything possible for their customers. After 10 years in a 400sf space, we moved to our current location. In 2011, Louie's second son, John, came aboard followed by his granddaughter, Amber. Louie's lifelong dream of having a family business was complete. While Louie is no longer with us, we strive to keep his dream alive and treat our customers like family members.
